Our History

Rick's Hi-Tech Auto Care was established in March of 1989 by Rick and Leslie Sharbrough.  The couple met in 1986 at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas and married in 1987.  Rick finished a fourteen year degree plan in Management Information Systems at the University of Houston in December 1988.  After much prayer and consideration, Rick and Leslie leased the shop which had been closed for over a year and started business on a shoe string budget.  The business was a one man operation for several weeks and then grew rapidly.  

Rick had worked as a technician since 1978 in both independent and dealership environments and had achieved ASE Master Technician status.  The combination of a business education and technical expertise has proved extremely valuable.  During a period when many small businesses failed, Rick's Hi-Tech continued to grow every year.

 We now employ three ASE master certified technicians and a fourth working towards master status.  In all we have nine employees.  We have great expectations for the future always remembering to thank God for his many blessings which make it all possible!
